These two sisters remind me so much of my older sister and I. I had such a fun time running around at the beach with these two. Meet Anna & Jane.

One of my favorite things about Michigan summers is all of the fresh produce. I was recently in Grand Rapids and took a trip to one of their Farmer’s Market with some of my dear friends. The strawberries were delicious, as you can see on Vivian’s face below!
I encourage everyone to BUY LOCAL when possible! Not only are you supporting your community, but you’re buying goods that don’t have to be shipped to get to you (and thus reducing pollution).

Jane is the adorable cousin of my niece Kennedy. Jane lives in New York, but we were able to do a session when we were all visiting Kennedy in Atlanta a few weeks back. Jane is only 10 months old and already she is a very active and independent baby! She wasn’t quite sure what to think of her younger cousin that cries all of the time, but I am sure they will become the best of friends!

Today is a day of pulling pranks and complete shenanigans. If you didn’t already know, I was basically raised by wolves and playing jokes on each other was part of showing our love. My dad was the easiest to get. To be fair, with 3 daughters he was living in a house full of women and we never passed up on a chance to take advantage of those odds. My favorite memory is from a trip to San Francisco. After a full day of activity my dad decided to take a little nap and my younger sister decided dad needed some pampering. We had his toenails painted a beautiful shade of pink in no time. He just kept on snoring…
When he finally awoke, he knew he’d been had.
